these 6 tracks are extracted from a 90-minute improv-experiment. the
recording was done live. the trombone mic was plugged into one
channel of an Mbox. the mbox audio-out was then sent to a rig
of analog and digital signal processors, which were used to
manipulate the trombone sound in real-time. that sound
sent into a guitar amp, which was mic’d. the amp
mic was plugged into the other channel on the
Mbox, which then ran into dan’s computer.
there was no work done on the audio
after the recording, other than
cutting out boring parts.
